The Problem

Running a fleet means small problems every day

We know how hard it is. Here are the four we hear most, and every one shows up in your data first.

Engines fail, fuel burn climbs, and you don’t know why

The automation system, the noon report, the maintenance log. Each holds part of the answer.None of them talk, and your charter pays for it.

View from inside a ship's bridge showing a person operating the ship's controls with multiple digital navigation and monitoring screens, and an out-of-focus large vessel visible through the windows in the background.

Unreliable data keeps your crew frustrated and overwhelmed

A fuel spike reads like a fault until you know the crew switched fuel entering an ECA. Contextlives in heads and paper logs.

Problems surface after they cost you

Hull fouling, seized pumps, and engine drift show up at inspection or in the monthly report. By then the damage is done.

BUILT TO EXTEND

Know early, ask why.
build on the same data

Most platforms end at their own screen. Clarify sends your data onward, to your phone, to the tools you already use, and to whatever your team builds next.

Get notified where you work

Set the conditions that matter. Clarify tells you when they're met, on whatever device you're on.

Ask in plain language

Your data arrives with context attached, so any model or agent your team uses can answer questions about it

Power any AI and agent

Dashboards, work orders, internal tools, build them on Clarify with the tools your team already uses.

What Clarify does

Built for the way shipping actually runs

Live streams. Human context. Autonomous agents. All of your domains, in one place your organisation owns.

Same operation. New outcomes

Your team can act on facts and focus on work that matters. Clarify handles everything between the signal and the action.

Every vessel, sensor, and system in one live view

Fuel flow, engine load, running hours, alarms, every stream from every vessel flowing into one place your shore team can actually query. No more chasing readings across twelve onboard systems.

Add the context the sensor can't see

The sensor doesn't know the number two auxiliary was down for maintenance. Your crew does. Add a fuel switch, a delay, a repair, right on the reading itself, from the app or the desk.

Build it once, runs on its own

One vessel, pumps and valves in the thousands. Build one agent, it watches fuel flow, engine load, and shaft speed together, and fires the moment burn drifts out of line for the speed you are making. Runs 24/7.

Deliver events wherever action lives.

Get the alerts on mobile, web, Slack, work-orders, your own dashboards, or the tool your team hasn't built yet.

FORWARD DEPLOYED ENGINEERING

Our engineers land beside your chief engineers

Start with our engineers by your side. We connect your systems, your data, and your AI, and we stay until the result shows.

Control

Your operation, made legible

From manual burden to automated advantage.
Our engineers land on your site to map out your systems and make data flow, connecting the realities of your operation with the power of AI.

Solve problems

Together we solve your hardest problems

Sitting beside your team, our engineers turn what your experts already know into events that fire on their own. Measurable impact starts here, and your team learns to build without us.

Frequently asked questions

Fit

Clarify turns the raw data from your sensors and control systems into events your team can act on: a stress event in a fish tank, a drone in your airspace, a pipe that needs cleaning. We do it in three steps. First you take ownership of your data, then your experts build software robots that turn noise into signal, and our engineers work alongside you the whole way.

No. Dashboards show you the data; Clarify works on it before it gets there. We sit between the chaos of the physical world and the tools your people already use, and send them clean, meaningful data.

No. If you have Snowflake, you get better data in Snowflake. If you have Power BI, you get better data in Power BI. Clarify adds value to the stack you have already invested in; it does not compete with it.

A data lake is only as good as what flows into it. Fill it with raw, unformatted sensor data and you are no closer to solving your business problems. Clarify cleans the stream as the data flows, so what lands in your lake is something you can actually use.

Your AI will never be better than the data you feed it. Raw, millisecond-resolution sensor data means nothing to a language model; it has no understanding of your production. Clarify turns that data into events and metrics an AI can work with, so you can ask your phone which of your sites is performing worst and get a real answer.

A threshold is easy to set up, but it floods you with alerts. What is normal differs between sites and changes over time, so a fixed limit like 10 degrees gives you alarm fatigue instead of insight. Clarify lets your experts define what actually matters, site by site.

Building a dashboard is easy, and it can feel like progress. The hard part is turning high-volume, chaotic sensor data into reliable signals at scale, and keeping it running. That is a software product in itself. Unless you sell software, it is not where your team should spend its time.

Many of our customers tried that first. Large consultancies tell a good story, but they often come top down without understanding the industrial reality, and the projects stop without results. We have worked on factory floors since 2013, and we build on your data and your experts

No. The people who know your process best, such as your biologists, maintenance engineers or analysts, bring the domain knowledge. Our team brings cybernetics, data science and a decade of industrial experience. Together we build the robots that do the manual work for them.

Yes. We work alongside you, and we drive out to your sites. You talk to the people who build the product, not a call center somewhere else.

With one specific problem and your actual data. We find the smallest thing we can demonstrate that proves this is more than talk, for example detecting stress events in your tanks. Once that works, you can take on the next problem on the same foundation.

That is why we start small, with a pilot on your own data and a result you can measure. If it doesn't work for you, you keep your data and can take it elsewhere.

You do. Many vendors in this space have an unclear relationship with who owns the data and what they can do with it. With Clarify, you have full ownership and control, and you can export your data at any time.

New equipment is when good data matters most. Clarify helps you see whether the investment works as intended, improve how you run it, and document the results to your board and owners.

Our roots are in the ocean industries: aquaculture, shipping and maritime, and defence. Customers include Salmon Evolution, Eide Fjordbruk and IINO Lines. In defence and ocean robotics, we work with Maritime Robotics, Eelume, Biodrone and Blueye Robotics. The technology works anywhere you have sensor or time-series data.
