Embicon

Web-based tool for data acquisition

Embicon AS is a Norwegian company that develops systems and solutions for the maritime industry. Embicon is the developer of Embilink, a web-based tool for data acquisition able to collect, store and display data from maritime facilities, vessels, onshore facilities, and other aquaculture sources.

Embilink provides users with a variety of options for accessing its real-time and historical data, including data integration with third-party solutions such as Clarify. For easy integration with other web-based tools, Embilink has an API. Clarify can help you to organize and analyse Embilink data, as well as to combine it with data from other sources.

About Embicon AS company

Founded in 2009 in Norway, Embicon AS develops various measuring and monitoring systems for the maritime industry. The company is focused on utilizing innovative technologies to provide solutions for environmental protection, as well as insights and real-time access to information for customers in the maritime sector.

Embicon AS develops and implements custom measuring and monitoring systems based on third-party hardware solutions with integrated Embilink systems. Environmental aquaculture measuring stations by Embicon are able to monitor crucial parameters related to fishing and fish farming, such as water oxygen levels, temperature, salinity, sea current, weather, dead fish count, etc.

About Embilink

Embicon’s main product is Embilink, a web-based tool that can be integrated with sensors and hardware from a large number of third-party suppliers, enabling cloud-based monitoring of important information in real time.

Embilink measuring solutions, designed to withstand rough maritime environments are able to collect data from a wide range of sensors, communicating it wirelessly to a cloud server via Wi-Fi, mobile networks, network cables or fiber-optic lines.

Embilink Lab

Embilink Lab is a portable system designed for short-term measuring requirements in remote locations. The system can be powered by a battery, supports wireless connection, GPS, and is able to receive data from many different sensors.

Embilink WiSi

Embilink WiSi is a wireless sensor interface that allows users to perform extra measurements in measuring systems integrated with Embilink without the need to establish a physical connection. Embilink WiSi communicates wirelessly with the measuring station and includes a built-in rechargeable battery that powers the sensor.

System monitoring and control

Embilink systems are able to monitor and control, among other things, engine instrumentation in work boats, generators at fish farms, oxygen pumps, automatic feeders, and sludge handling. The system provides operations managers with access to operational data from multiple workboats, locations or departments in the same system and notifies them when reaching critical measurement values.

Why integrate with Clarify?

  • Search - let people on your team easily find data across siloed systems - always available on their phone or in the browser
  • Visualize - See trends and combine data to visually explore
  • Explore - See statistics and seamlessly move from millisecond detail to years worth of data
  • Export - Combine data sources and easily export to Excel for further data work
  • Annotate/label - Add meaning and context to your data by labeling both points and periods in time, to build training sets for your AI/ML efforts
  • Contextualize - Ensure naming, labeling, and metadata is of high quality
  • Cloud Storage - one safe space for your raw time series data built for cost-efficient speed and performance at scale
  • Integrate - break down your data silos and build one source of truth
  • Mobile apps for iOS and Android - make data easily available for your team, whenever and wherever they are. Fuel a remote work culture with live data.
  • Collaboration - share visualizations and discuss data with comments, threads and the activity feed. Add files for even more context.
